Places to see in Kerala - Munnar

It is famous for its lush green surroundings, lakes, reservoirs, forests, and tea estates. The quiet environs of Munnar attract the traveler to relax in the lap of Mother Nature. Places to see in Kerala - Wayanad Wayanad is one of the hill stations of Kerala that has been able to retain its pristine nature. Hidden away in the hills of Wayanad are some of the oldest tribes, as yet untouched by civilisation. Wayanad is known for picturesque mist-clad hills, sprawling spice plantations, luxuriant forests and rich cultural traditions. Idukki is one of the popular hill stations of Kerala. Idukki is the land of majestic mountains, wondrous valleys and spectacular streams. The mountains of Idukki are the starting point of the River Pamba. The small hill town of Idukki derives its name from the Malayalam word Idukku that literally means 'a narrow gorge'. Idukki lives true to its name and the Periyar River has the hills of Kuravan and Kurathi on its sides forming a gorge. The mist clad hillocks of the hill resort of Idukki work magic. Idukki offers forests rich in teak wood, rose wood and sandalwood.
Places to see in Kerala - Devikulam

Devikulam has gorgeous green slopes that are as high as if to touch the sky. Lovely large lawns, rare fauna and flora and the cool breezes in Devikulam are not just refreshing but rejuvenating to the souls. Devikulam literally means "the pond or lake of the Devi". As per the beliefs of the people Goddess Sita had bathed in the waters of the lake in Devikulam. It is amongst the places to see in Kerala for sure.
